Moonrise Mystic is the journey of a novelist connecting her love of story with her passion for the mystical into one moving, breathing prayer. It’s for those who love to read fantasy stories and intuitive writings that explore expanding through the initiations of life, death and rebirth, and transmuting shadow to light. Thank you for being here!
It’s amazing how—when you’re paying attention and you’re open to receiving—the right message comes in at just the right time, and when you least expect it. It’s like a beautiful little gem that brightens your day and makes you smile, knowing that the Universe, Sophia-Source, God, or whatever word you prefer, is listening to and answering your prayers.
Over the past month, I’ve been on a roller coaster of emotions as I clear, heal, and rest over a decade of trauma and wounds. Some days, I feel so light I can be a diamond of power. On other days, my soul rests more deeply into my body, and I’m called to transmute more pain through deeper levels of self-love and compassion.
As I continue doing the work being asked of me, no matter how heat-breaking it can be at times, I’m continually led to know that I’m on the right path—the path of leading the way, for myself and others. To healing, empowerment, and a blessed life. This knowing comes through synchronistic messages that come through others, my guides, or my intuitive knowing.
I believe many of us are here to lead the way through this path now, as challenging and impossible as it can feel—what waits through the other side of the fire is the diamond self.
My cousin reached out to me the other day with words of wisdom that I knew were sent directly from Sophia, through his mouth, through his urge to text me this passage from across the world, at just the right time. Without knowing it was the answer to the emotional turmoil I was trying to sort out within myself, which was:
“If I’m here for a greater purpose (as most of us know that we are), then why has nothing I’ve created over the past ten years worked out, no support has come to keep my life from crumbling to pieces, and now I’m at my lowest of lows?”
The passage he shared with me answered that question in the most simple, direct, and beautiful way.
I’ve rewritten the original passage with a transmission from Mother Earth because it feels even more potent for me this way. I hope if you’re reading this, it’s just the message you need right now, too.
The Apple Passage 🍎🌹
There’s the truth:
The woman picked the apple.
There’s the truth of the truth:
The woman was starving, as was everyone else.
Then there’s the truth of the truth of the truth:
Sophia prepared more than enough apples and encouraged the woman to step forward first and walk The Way to her fulfillment and theirs—even if it meant traveling an unknown path. The people acknowledged Sophia’s blessings and the courage it took for the woman to go first.
*Footnote…
🍎 The “apple” symbolizes walking the unknown path to your soul’s deepest fulfillment. Which first requires descending into the fires to shed all that isn’t you (transmuting from starving to fulfilled). 🌹
It takes courage to walk The Way first. We’ll likely be misunderstood and even face persecution at times. But that’s what we came here to do. All of the seeming struggle and shadow that appears to keep us from our blessings and prayers answered is our time to alchemize and refine through the holy fire into the diamond light as we prepare to step out into our divine purpose or mission, however big or small… it all matters. 💜

The perfect message for our time Alysia, if we just keep walking, it will all appear along the path.
Love this Alysia! We are the alchemists of these times. We are the liminal walkers, the instigators of change. We might not see the results in our lifetime, but we do make it possible.
