There’s a story of a witch and whale. Only the witch doesn’t realize she’s a witch, while the whale is far more than a mere creature of the sea.

You see, the witch believes herself to be a normal, boring woman. The catch is that she doesn’t seem to fit in with any social standard for someone so normal or boring. So, it follows that this witch isn’t normal at all.

What the witch doesn’t know, at least not in her logical mind, is that she’s much more like the whale than any normal human, for she has an ancient, wise, and magical soul. Yet, she believes herself and her life to be small, tedious, and without meaning—as happens with so many people as they grow into adulthood and, therefore, suffer needlessly.

Yet, this couldn’t be further from the truth. This particular witch is even more familiar to the wise whale than she realizes. She is a dragon walking in human skin.

A witch, a priestess, a healer, an angel, a dragon—the name matters not, for they all point to the same meaning—a being of light come to the earth to transmute darkness to light and pain to power, both for herself and the world.

Now, we must be clear: While all beings have this transformative power within them, not everyone enters their lifetime with a willingness to be this empowered. It takes great courage to walk the spiral path of this healing, alchemizing work.

The witch is one of these courageous beings, and this story tells of how she moved from thinking small about herself to becoming the energetic size of a whale, then of a dragon, until her field of power was far beyond any human or creature awareness.

Now, you might say that the whale—which in this story is an Orca—stands small in comparison to the witch under these new terms of her power. That is, however, if you forget that the whale is also one of the courageous souls who came to transform the world with her song. We must not forget that!

At the deepest truth, the witch and the whale are dragon sisters who travelled the multiverse to reunite for a destined mission upon the Mother Earth—to awaken the witch to who she really is. This only happens through navigating the darkest of emotional terrains because it’s only in the darkness that you can see the light.

And in their corner of the world, it’s imperative that the witch remember her light.
