Hey, I’m Alysia. I’m a novelist, a mystic, and a healer. I have been writing novels, stories, and intuitive writing for over a decade. My true passion for writing began with my love for stories—particularly fantasy stories.
From this love, came the spark to write my own stories. I have self-published three novels: The Wonder Soul, The Raven Dreams, and The Raven Wars.

The Moonrise Mystic Shop (previously Starseed Potions) was birthed from a passion and profound healing experience with essential oils. Combining this passion with my love of everything witchy and earth magic, I created spells (or activations) to use with each potion, which allowed me to connect to healing at soul-level.
Along my journey, I’ve found that true healing begins when you’re ready to go into the depths of your wounds and hold yourself through the death and rebirth that come with facing these wounds with deep self-love. And yet, I found working with something tangible to aid me in this process was necessary—and so the Moonrise Mystic Shop was birthed after years of using essential oils to heal myself and my children.

In addition to being a novelist and potion maker, I have a deep passion for exploring life's great mysteries. I studied the ways of the mystic in a year-long study in the Inner Temple Mystery School, which helped me cultivate a deep connection with nature and the earth, to commune with Mother Earth’s healing ways to empower my divine knowing and to plant my soul deeply into the human experience through my life and writing.
